DEATH!!! Does it haunt you??

What is the thing that comes to your mind first when you attend a funeral ceremony? Why is it that you spend a sleepless night after watching a horror movie? Ghosts & vampires.... Why so many disturbing thoughts lurk in your mind as you lie in a hospital? If you go for a blood test & find yourself positive for HIV or cancer, what is the reason you start screaming? Is it the disease or the death that ensues???? Why do you feel sorry for a friend's death or suicide?  Advertantly or inadvertantly, the culprit is the fear of death, something which is sure to occur, some day or the other. For unbelievers, death is the end of all that this life, their only hope, has to offer. It is a horrible moment for them. But for true believers in Christ, death is a glorious event, freedom from this life of suffering & persecution. It marks the beginning of a new birth for a new life which is eternal. It is a moment of victory & joy beyond comprehension. All human beings, believers & unbelievers alike, have a natural inclination towards being afraid of death. It is an attribute of the human flesh, the physical body, because by death it will lose its nourishment. But the soul rejoices or grieves, depending on whether he had believed or not. When Christ resurrected, He overcame death & hell. Same will be for true believers. But for those who lay their foundation on the worldy treasures, money, skills, family, fame, identity, & so on which are only temporary, they will be shaken off along with these 'treasures'. They will be subdued by death. So lay your foundation on Jesus,the rock. All the rest is sinking sand. He is the alpha & the omega, the beginning & the end. Those who trust in Him alone, although they die, WILL LIVE. So are you afraid of death anymore????

Homosexuality is DANGEROUS!!!!

Its bewildering to know that certain churches in the US have considered homosexuality as acceptable & are even conducting gay marriages. The Bible strictly speaks against homosexuality. Remember Sodom & Gomorrah!!!! I understand homosexuals are not to be blamed for because the temptation is strong & the flesh is weak. I MYSELF HAVE PERCEIVED HOMOSEXUAL TENDENCIES SO I EMPATHISE WITH THEM....!!!! Homosexuals & lesbians are NOT to be avoided in the society. Satan acts in perverted ways in the lives of his victims. Remember those who acknowledge God & yet support homosexuality are FALSE TEACHERS. They are from the devil.

Do you know that almost 50% of AIDS victims acquire the disease through homosexual contacts??? Homosexuals are more prone for other STD's compared to heterosexuals.
Remember sex is holy when it is  looked at through God's perspective. It should take place only between a husband & wife. When two magnets are kept close, only the unlike poles attract & like poles repel. The like poles when kept close for a long time,due to constant repulsion ,ultimately lose magnetic power. Same is with homosexuality. It makes you weak & unfit for a healthy sexual relation with your partner. Also it leads to guilt, depression , bipolar, suicide tendencies & so on. Pray constantly in times of your temptations for the power of the Holy Spirit . Remember there is no sin which cannot be overcome through the Spirit's power. In Jesus's name. Amen

So, what are you hooked on??

This is a nuclear age we are going through. People are so busy with their cobwebs. They run hither & tither to earn a living. With enormous education has come great responsibility.
They live for some eighty years, or say hundred years. For God it's too meagre a time. Does that mean that people have been toiling so hard for something which will be lost in memory in no time....??? Do they fix their eyes on something which is vanity??? It could take the shape of anything, money, health, sound education, business, insurance, fun, chatting, & so on the list is pretty long. Which of these would give you ETERNAL happiness & contentment??? Which of these do you expect to carry along after life???
The things mentioned above nourish the physical body & mind. After death this very same physical body degrades, putrifies & becomes a part of the earth. What remains is the soul which is eternal. What have you done for the nourishment of your soul so far...? Jesus said-" And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul..." Matthew 16: 26.
So the SOUL REALLY MATTERS!!! We should give our first priority to the things that nourish the soul, that is, Word of God & prayer. The rest, be it education or money or whatever, should be a means to serve God better. Nothing should be a substitute to the true happiness & joy we get through our personal relationship with Christ. Rather than heaping up treasures on earth, we must heap up treasures in heaven.
You need not be a Bible scholar or pastor or prophet to serve God efficiently. Whichever situation God has placed you in is the best setting where you could do your ministry for Christ. It need not be a church always. It could be a hospital, a school, a fire station, a restaurant, a prison, a company or even a small shop. Identify your spiritual gifts & use them to the fullest. May God help you to place your first concern over Him & to serve Him well. In the holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen...

Its so good to know that there are true christians in every nook & corner of the world inspite of the degrading state of our planet & the increasing christian persecution ....Jesus has his disciples serving everywhere on earth & that gives me courage to withstand every odd that comes my way, knowing that the present suffering won't last for long!!!!  I'm indeed the happiest man on earth!!!!
